This notice relates to the International Year of the Woman Farmer Celebration 2026, organised with the Kenya School of Agriculture and partner organisations. The event organisers are the data controllers for registration and related operational data.

We collect only information needed for event operations and approved reporting, including:

• Gender and age group (optional / for aggregate reporting)
• Country, county and related location fields
• Participant category and optional agricultural information
• Accessibility needs (only if you choose to provide them)
• Consent choices (privacy, photo/video, optional communications)
• For exhibitors: organisation details, contact person, and exhibition requirements

We do not request national ID numbers, passport numbers, home addresses or dates of birth unless a clear operational need is established by the organisers.

3. How we use the information

• Participant registration and digital pass issuance
• Attendance and check-in on event days
• Lunch distribution and operational logistics
• Exhibitor application review and space coordination
• Aggregate reporting for organisers and authorised partners
• Responding to registration or access assistance requests

4. Photo and video

During the event, photographs and video may be taken for official documentation and publicity. You will be asked for separate consent on the registration form. Photo/video consent is not treated as permission for unrelated marketing. Exact wording is subject to final approval by the organisers.

5. Sharing and security

Personal data is accessible only to authorised event staff according to their role. Financial contribution amounts (where collected) are restricted to specifically authorised finance officers. Technical measures include secure authentication, server-side validation, and database access controls.

6. Retention

A data-retention and deletion policy will be defined with the organisers. Data will not be kept longer than necessary for the purposes described above and applicable legal requirements.

7. Your choices
